Job Responsibilities: 
  • Plan, develop, test and document computer programs by utilizing knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
  • Analyze the existing data handling systems, user requirements, procedures, and problems to evaluate effectiveness and developing new systems to improve the existing system.
  • Propose hardware and software configurations based on system requirements, identify the suitable hardware environments and software requirements.

  • Upgrade systems and correct errors to maintain system after implementation and prepare specifications to provide more applications to meet the company’s future needs.
  • Use Oracle 10G to Customize language-dependent behavior for the database and individual sessions, administer a VLDB, use RMAN to create and manage backup sets and image copies, use Oracle Secure Backup to backup and recover a database, detect block corruptions and take appropriate measures to correct them.
